**Urbar, November 1, 2024 – In September, a significant contract was signed between the municipality of Urbar and the developer of the new leisure project “UrbarPark.de”. This innovative project will significantly enrich the tourist infrastructure in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, in the vicinity of the Loreley Rock.
The UrbarPark will offer a total of 18 pitches for mobile homes and 15 tiny houses. The special altitude will offer guests unique opportunities to experience the beauty and culture of this picturesque region. The aim of the project is to offer guests a modern and sustainable vacation experience and to promote tourism in the “Valley of the Loreley”.
Once the necessary approvals have been granted, the project is scheduled for completion in 2026. Local mayor Thorsten Plenz emphasized the importance of the project for the economic development of Urbar.
“We are delighted to be driving this project forward and making a contribution to strengthening tourism in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site,” explained the local mayor.
